Therefore this station sent out warnings via e-mail to the more developed parts of the country. However the an email warning people of the tsunami didnt reach the under developed parts of Asia. After the disaster people could send text messages to let others know that they were safe, also websites were immediately set up to show people who had been found and those still missing. Sky TV used a Ticker that showed text messages and emails from survivers of this disaterous tsunami. Without these modern communications people would of been left worrying about their loved ones.
