What is eBay?
eBay is a major internet auction website. Anything and everything can be bought / sold from this website. The target audience is internet bidders who are looking for a particular item / items!
The Auction Process
Items are put up for auction and given a time limit, and then people can bid against each other to win the item. Once sold the successful bidder pays the seller and the item is then sent / collected.
Benefits & Limitations
The benefits of eBay are that you can bid anywhere / buy from anywhere. Items can go quite cheap and almost anything is sold. The limitations are that if you dont have the internet or can get access to the internet then you cant bid / buy anything. Also some items can be misleading which can lead to a buyer buying something under false pretenses.
